Inside View: Meet Our Hope Through School Trainers
As the 2006-2007 School year approaches an end, we would like to highlight our Hope Through School trainers who have made our afterschool program such a success, Adriana Castro and Matthew Cooley.  Adriana Castro is a Freshman at Hallahan High School in Philadelphia, where her favourite subject is Math.  She began as a Trainee at Hopeworks in February of 2006, and was hired for production in July.  In September, she became a Trainer.  Adriana hopes to one day own a hair salon.  She loves working at Hopeworks, saying "the people make Hopeworks feel like it's not a job."  Matthew Cooley first came to Hopeworks in November 2005.  However, he returned to Hopeworks in November 2006, and was quickly able to finish his personal website, pass his production test, and become a trainer in January 2007.  Matt dreams of being a Graphic Designer and a Music Producer.  On his part in Hopeworks, Matt says "Hopeworks does a lot for me, it teaches me new experiences, allows me to learn new things (such as Illustrator or Photoshop2), and meet new people."
