Hopeworks Open House
Hopeworks hosted an open house in the beginning of December. The youth did a great job giving tours to all who came. It was a wonderful way to start the holiday season with friends of Hopeworks and a great way to meet new faces. Thank you to all who attended!
Hopeworks Attends Youth Conference
Hopeworks youth attended "Speak Up! Listen Up!", a Youth Development Conference to Inspire Community Action, in Philadelphia on
December 16th. Youth attended sessions about different issues that affect their lives today. Angel Rodriguez and Elyse Smith represented Hopeworks as facilitators for the session "Peace in the Streets" in which they discussed how police affect peace in Camden and Philadelphia. They were joined by Sgt. Kelley and two of his fellow police officers from the Camden Police Department. Thank you to the Camden Police, especially Sgt. Kelley!

Hopeworks Christmas Party!
Christmas was celebrated early here at Hopeworks. There was food, fun, presents, and a visit from Santa for all! The youth ate all day, listened to Christmas music, played games, and then participated in a "Stealing Santa" gift swap. Great fun was had by all who attended, and Hopeworks wishes everyone a very Happy New Year!
