Vineyard Fundraiser Huge Success!
Hopeworks 1st Annual Fundraiser at the Heritage Vineyard in Richwood, NJ was fun for all. Local wine and imported cheeses were available all night while atendees mingled throughout the tables that presented homemade pies, bread, and jams from Heritage Vineyard. Hayrides were available for those who wished to tour the vineyard and pick an apple or two for a souvenir. A corn maze was also available for those who were feeling adventurous. We finished off the night by raffling off baskets that had been donated. Many thanks to all who attended. Special thanks to Heritage Vineyard for hosting the event, as well as DiCicco Design and Renovations Inc. for sponsoring the event. It was a great night!
Networking Team Starts Up
Sade Coley, Mario Arriola, and Angel Rodriguez make up Hopeworks new Networking Team. Along with Father Jeff, the youth began working within Hopeworks, and are now working on projects off-site for clients in the Camden Community. The youth clean both the hardware and software of the computers to help them run more efficiently, as well as make sure the networks and workgroups are working correctly. This is a great opportunity for the youth to get working experience, and they are enjoying it and learning a great deal.

St. Joseph University MBA Project
A group of MBA students from St. Joseph's University have asked to work with Hopeworks for their semester project. Their project entails creating a youth marketing plan. This past week, they met with Hopeworks Day Trainees and Hope Through School Trainees to hear what brought them to Hopeworks. We'll be working with the MBA students for the rest of their semester.
Visitors from Mali
Board member and co-founder of Hopeworks, Pastor Margaret Herz-Lane, has been working on a project with a group from Africa. She visited the country of Mali this past summer. Two people whom she worked with in Mali are visiting the U.S., and Pastor Herz-Lane invited them to visit Hopeworks. It was wonderful to be able to share Hopeworks with them!
