Hopeworks Delivers Keynote Address At URISA Conference

Standing ovations, hugs, photo opportunities and hearty compliments were just part of a day’s work for six trainees who gave the keynote address at Sharing Technological Inspiration: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, the 45th annual conference of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA).  We were mightily proud of these youth as they presented the work they did this summer at Hopeworks to an audience of geographic information systems (GIS) professionals gathered in Washington, DC Hilton’s ballroom.  The audience felt energized by our ambitious, articulate young people and sensed the hard work that they put in to preparing for this event.  Congratulations!
