I will be using the United States data set.

The Smith Outlet Corporation consultant contacted my GIS Office asking me to map out where the female population is, and where the population ages of 18-64 for working and business purposes. The Smith Outlet only targets females and will need workers, so I will find all of the population in ages 17-64.

I will have to know the following:

1. I need to know where the female population is.

2. I need to know where the population of the ages of 18-64 for business and working purposes.

3. Targeted area must includes the population of ages 17-64

4. Purposed area must be with in the United States.

Mario:

I will be using the Significant and Historic data set.

I am working for the Worldwide Reconstruction Committee by creating a map for them about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. What we do is reconstruct places where a major earthquake has occurred. Our recent project is reconstructing parts of California. In April 18, 1906 one of the most significant earthquakes ever recorded occurred. A foreshock happened right before the actual earthquake which was widely felt throughout the San Francisco Bay area. The actual earthquake happened some 20 to 25 seconds later. It lasted about 45 to 60 seconds. The frequent quoted value of 700 deaths caused by the earthquake is now believed to underestimate the total loss of life by a factor of 3 or 4. The destruction was so intense that parts of California are still ruined after a period of about 97 years. Probably the area that was most affected by the earthquake was, like I said, San Francisco.

Now in order for us to make this project possible we will need some of the following requirements:

The population of the area must be adequate to supply an abundant workforce.
The areas of reconstruction must be near major transportation routes.
The areas of reconstruction must be located near a location where an abundant supply of materials will be provided.

Endrix:

I will be using the Georgia City dataset.

My proposal is that a Hispanic business owner is looking to expand his business from Puerto Rico to the United States, specifically to Georgia. He has hired me to find a suitable location for his nightclub/restaurant. Because of the emphasis on Latino foods for the restaurant, finding an area with a large population of Hispanics is necessary. Let’s not forget he will have to find employees to work at his business. I will have to find a location with a heavy population of people ages 18-64, which is generally seen as the working age. Also, these ages are perfect for the nightclub because it is a requirement to be at least eighteen years of age. With all this information, I will have to create a map so that he can determine the best location for his business.

Requirements for this project:

I must find the most heavily populated Hispanic area in Georgia.
I must find the most heavily populated area with residents which range in ages from 18-64. Also, this will apply to the nightclub because of the age requirement of being 18 or older.
Finally, I must gather all the information together and apply it to the map.

Joshua Rivera:

I will be using the Georgia City Data set. A friend of mine works for the Georgia Widows foundation, Recently they have discovered that many widows in the Georgia area have been affected by their husbands death economically. With that in mind , they decided that the answere to this probem was to find them jobs. But there was a huge bump on the road, we had another problem. There were a surplus of vacant houses
but no job oppurtunities, and non-avaliability. So he decided to create more job oppurtunities by knocking down all the vacant houses and building businesses on them. So they hired me to map out the information.

So to do that.

1) I must find the most heavily populated widow area.
2) In that area, I must find all the vacant houses.
3)and finally Apply the information to the map.

Jashua Gilchrist:

As Jashua Gilchrist I will be using data from North America!

I am Doctor Lava and I am trying to cause chaos in North America. I am trying to stop agent 008 so that I can get revenge for what Mario bros has stolen from me. I will need team GIS to help me find all of the active volcanoes near the major cities in North America. Mario bros has stolen presidency from me and I need team GIS to help me find a big enough Volcano.

With the volcano I want to throw the Mario bros in so that the volcano can erupt and destroy some of the major cities near the volcano take something of his which is his wife princess peach. As Doctor Lava princess peach will be mine forever because I am Doctor Lava if any body tries to stop me I will throw her into the volcano so Team GIS let s find data on the biggest volcano so that I can rule the world. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I will need to find all of the active volcanoes

2. I will need to know where the major cities are located.

3. Volcanoes must be 6885 meters above sea leveling order to meet team gis standards for a lethal volcanoes.

4. Volcanoes must be located in north America.
