Hopeworks College Scholarship

In 2008 Hopeworks launched the Hopeworks College Scholarship program. The program will award a $1000 Scholarship each year to a current or former Hopeworks trainee.   Our goal is to eventually fund 5 yearly $1,000 scholarships.

Since we opened in 2000, over 70 youth who have been at Hopeworks have gone on to college. To qualify for the Hopeworks College Scholarship a youth must have been a part of Hopeworks for at least 8 months; have held a job at Hopeworks and be enrolled in college.

We are proud to announce that the 2008 Hopeworks College Scholarship has been awarded to Mario Arriola!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and donors who make this scholarship possible, we wish Mario, and all of our college youth, the best in the coming semester.  We look forward to hearing of your success!
