Peer Learning Exchange between Hopeworks and
City Scan in Hartford, Connecticut
On May 10th, 2002, ten Hopeworks youth and four staff members travelled
to Hartford, CT to visit with several youth and staff from Hartford's City
Scan project.
Sponsored by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and hosted by Debra Delgado
and the Center for the Study of Social Policy, this event was a valuable
opportunity for peers from 2 organizations who provide similar programs
and services to share ideas and technical assistance.
The goal of this peer learning exchange was to focus on training youth in
the use of technology for data collection and using these skills in the
civic participation process.
