Becoming educated is a lifelong process. The Hopeworks literacy program is Dynamic. It strives to help trainees to “learn to learn.” Trainees partner with the literacy director to establish Realizable long-term and short-term learning goals. Each trainee is given the opportunity to shape his or her own learning. We reinforce the concept that learning new skills and new information can be meaningful and fun. Our program is designed to allow trainees to experience academic success as they make the Effort to develop a deeper understanding of how they learn. The Hopeworks literacy program helps trainees to develop their D.R.E.A.M.S. and have a second chance to Attain and Maintain academic Success.
