James Jones
My name is James Jones. I'm from Washington Township. I enjoy
computers because of all the possibilities a computer can create.
Plus, with everything now becoming so computerized, I
want to be ready for any program that I might run into. Hopeworks
helped me begin my college career this past semester (winter
2002). The Hopeworks program allows me to both go
to school and to continue my training. I plan to
become good at making web sites and Hopeworks can help
me achieve that goal. |

Angel Zavala-Garces
My name is Miguel Angel Zavala-Garces, I'm 23 years old and
I decided to join the program of Hopeworks because I want to
get more ability to work with computers and become a professional.
I'm very into music, being that I'm a musician and I love the
computers. I think that if I can combine music and web page
designing I will have accomplished a lot of things in my life
along with what I wanted to do here. |

Perez
My name is Manuel Perez. I joined Hopeworks because I wanted
to learn about building web sites and web pages. I also joined
because I just wanted to learn more about computers and how
they work. I am a video game fanatic and would like to become
a video game designer. I would like design my own games or make
designs for a big company. This summer, I will be an team
leader in the SummerGIS program. |

Hi! My name is Poncho Francisco Diaceace Castillo Lopez, but
everyone calls me Frank. I've been on this earth for 17years.
I found my way to Hopeworks through my two friends Javier and
Jason. I think Hopeworks is great because the training teaches
you so much about computers and it will help me be accepted
into a good college. |

What's the deal! I'm Marcus and I live in the East Camden area.
I joined Hopeworks to better myself and to make a difference
in my life. I really enjoy working and learning new things on
computers. Hopeworks is a good program if you like computers.
I also like how Hopeworks has made a difference by all it has
helped me accomplish.
Currently I'm the Lead Trainer for Hopeworks. After six and
a half months of training, I have now acquired great skills
that have helped me advance in the computer field as well as
the work field. I took the lead position to help others succeed
at their goals. Also, I wanted to show other youth that Hopeworks
can, will, and does make a difference in peoples' lives. |

Trang Trieu
My name is Trang Trieu. I am a GIS trainee here at Hopeworks.
My job is to tile and trace the map of Camden city. I enjoy
doing what I do. To be honest, I wasn't expecting this kind
of job. Instead I was hoping to get a job in the medical field,
like working in the hospital or pharmacy. I was a little disappointed
after hearing that I had an interview with Hopeworks. However,
after hearing that the job deals with computers, I said to myself,
"why not give it a try"? So I did, and I'm very glad that I
did. Not only did I learn alot but I also get the opportunity
to meet alot of new people. |

My name is Milca Espinal, I'm 18 years old. I attend Rutgers
University where I pursuit a Pre-Med Major so I can become an
excellent General Surgeon. I plan to help those in need and
save the lives of many. One of my main goals is to help those
that don't have the economical advantage to help themselves. |

My name is Tara, also know as Lil Tee. I live in Camden County,
which is in South Jersey. I am the mother of an 8 yr old little
girl named Marissa. I had a very little computer knowledge before
coming to Hopeworks 'N Camden a few months ago. I have learned
many things with this program, and my trainer Marcus takes his
time with me to help me understand things better. This coming
fall I should be enrolled in classes at Camden County College
to start the process towards getting a degree in web page design. |

My name is Javier. I found out about Hopeworks through my friend
Jason. He told me what he did and I was interested in what he
was doing. My goals from being in this program is to complete
all the training, and eventually get paid from this program.
By being in this program, it should make it easier for me to
get into a good college and become successful. |

learn about Hopeworks through the saint Joes’ summer job program.
I am excited to start working at Hopeworks because I know I
